Just throwing this out there.

Samuel Eto'o, the player who had the bad attitude, couldn't wait to leave, who people believe was a bad influence on the dressing room, had too big an ego and Martinez was fantastic shipping him out.

OR

Samuel Eto'o, multiple trophy winning, african player of the year many times, played under top coaches at the best clubs and scored loads of goals. Turned up at a club, saw the manager didn't really have a clue and jumped out before it got worse.

Because i mean, players aren't mindless robots, there is a chance current or former players can see how things are and not totally agree with everything they see?

I think there's a bit of both in it.

Bobby should have said what Baines meant if they were taken out of context. He clearly knows what was meant and made him apologise. But I smell a player revolt.....
Well he mainly said it was open to interpretation. Which is true. I took it to mean that partnerships like his with Pienaar need to be developing on the pitch. I agree with that but it's a little dull so obviously the press and lots on here took it to mean all the players don't get on. Seems he's likely apologised for allowing that interpretation. Why should the manager explain more?
You don't have to prove he's constantly at fault for everything to make a decision on whether he's what Everton need.

Why should he apologise for the 'misinterpretations' of other people ?
