Would a long awaited Anfield win and progression to an FA Cup final see fans jump back on the 'give Martinez more time' boat again? I've got a feeling it would.

If by some miraculous miracle this scenario was to happen, personally I'd still want him gone after the final anyway.
Needs to win every game left this season for me. The performances against arsenal and united set the alarm bells going. The players didn't seem to know where to play, we had Barkley coming deep for the ball despite having McCarty and cleverly on, Lennon was playing as a playmaker behind Lukaku despite being one of biggest wide threats this season. Plus once again Martinez took off one of his best players (delofeu) when we were a goal down against united. Jags interview and baines comments make me think he's finished

Only an FA Cup win could justify the board keeping him on for another season in my eyes. Sadly I think they'll keep him regardless of what happens but I do think he'll be gone by the end of next season at the latest.

Ross is ranked 2nd on squawka this season out of all prem players. 4 out of the top 10 are spurs players in a team which sit 2nd in the league. He has never been one to tackle and lately he has looked very jaded which is why the finger should be pointed at the manager. If he does not want to rest or sub Ross then he needs to ensure that he recuperates better between games.
Yeah as I said, I love Ross and I know how good he is, but defending isn't optional and he needs somebody to make sure he does that side of the job properly. Agree that he hasn't been managed well in terms of burn out too.

We dont know if he wants to play 2 DMs....we dont know what players fit his strategy....and we dont know if it will work.

Maybe and might work,yes...so id like to see him have the opportunity.

So nearly three years in and you're trying to say we don't know this and we don't know that, and you'd like to see him given the opportunity?? Have you actually watched a game in the last three years, this team is going backwards under Martinez, and you want to see him given more of an opportunity?

The petition is Kopite level cringe.

Embarrassed to support my club. Embarrassed that we're becoming Newcastle. Embarrassed for the people who thought that was a good idea.

Maybe if our fans cared more about what's going on at our club instead of always comparing our reflection to the Kopites then perhaps we wouldn't have stagnated as much as we have.

Tired of fans giving it the "Kopite dat lad" everytime our fans speak up, even more so when said fans are old enough to remember us under John Moores.

Absolutely. ;)

Results on their own wouldn't be enough for me mate. Roberto would have to demonstrate to me a fundamental change in his footballing philosophy to get me to back him once more and I honestly don't think he's got that in him.

Considering Roberto is like this - virtually every game at the moment, never budging from his tactics, I don't think he's got it in him either.
