The thought of Martinez being in charge at the start of next season is the stuff of nightmares. If he is still here in August, I could see us doing a Villa. He's passed the point of no return now - he can't put a stop to poor results, the displays are increasingly underwhelming, players clearly aren't happy.

You need to stop saying the "Fourth place trophy" like its wrong to rather have that than a F.A.cup win.

Finishing fourth to decent players looking at our club looks a lot more like a interesting prospect and desirable one to get on board with than an awful league position with an F.A cup win.

I know which I'd rather choose as like I said previously the league is our bread and butter and something to base the future on.

Do you think Lukaku would be angling for a move away if we were fourth?

Would he buggery!

He'd know we were on the cusp of progressing further and with a few class additions whom would see our league position as very favourable would more likely want to join an exciting team challenging at the very top.

Possibly. He might be looking to get in at a team that can actually win the CL.

Just checked and it says it's the motto of their sports academy.

Ah! Thought you meant the university itself.

Strangely enough, our kid did a (short) refereeing course there (many moons ago) in conjucntion with the other stuff he was doing through the union.

I'd have thought he'd have mentioned it - if he took any notice, that is! ;)

You might well be right my friend, but after yesterday's performance I think he'd be a bit part player in that team.

Like I said if we were in that position to be in the champions league we've got a bit more behind us financially to add real quality and give it a decent go.

I'm still not convinced it's true. I was just interested in how literal the translation was and was surprised to see how many other places use it. It's listed on wiki for Loughborough University and some other obscure site but not on their own site that I can see. If he was a blue you got to hope he'd notice.
I'd better check Dime City Cycles as well
