Some would say the 4th place trophy. Others might say a Cup win.

For me it's about winning the league...which was a very long time ago.

NSNO is one of the harshest sticks to beat anyone at the club with for me.

Now that we have financial backing, let's just hope we can truly see the NSNO days return.
I've always kind of taken it to mean while you're part of this club we expect your best. Just looked up and it's also the motto of Loughborough University and Dime City Cycles among others. We should compare notes

I would bet my mortgage that if Mr. Mo wants to fire Bobby, or make any other major change at Everton, Bill would be powerless to stop him, even if he wanted to.

I know he owns fractionally less than half the shares but I would say those he does own give him near enough carte Blanche as makes no difference.

Moshiri would still need the backing of the majority of board though, wouldn't he?

This isn't me Brown nosing here. But you know you have issues when the best Everton fans forum bar NONE, possibly the best of the lot, with some brilliant posters, has this....

....As its opening 4 threads in a season where we are 2 and a bit weeks from Wembley. For the love of GOT  wake up and realise Martinez is way out of his depth.

He isn't capable of getting better out of this squad, if he were why is it taking him this long to show. Is there another club who were in and around us when he took over that would still have him in charge now? If you think Yes, which one?

I don't think he could get another prem job. Those at the top wouldn't touch him, those anywhere from 8 down know he's a massive relegation risk. If you're a chairman of someone like Southampton or Stoke you know you have a worse 11 than Everton and don't have a striker like Lukaku, how could you trust your side to a man who has ours in 12th?

I think he has to go abroad or to Scotland to resurrect his career now. Spain or Italy might suit him better.

China, sounds far enough.

If Moshiri eventually wants overall control of the club I wonder if he would rock the boat and take BK on if Moshiri wanted Martinez gone?

Also, I would imagine BK still has enough clout to make life difficult for Moshiri if he wanted to do so, especially when it came to Moshiri trying to buy up the extra shares needed.

I'm certain Moshiri will have a larger stake in the very near future as he invests capital into the club, initially for player purchases but also as the stadium resolution becomes closer.

There's no doubt in my mind he will eventually have total ownership of the club.

Indeed.

And I Imagine it would be very easy for him to get it.

In fact, we better hope it is......it would be awful to think we have a major new investor but the old board can easily stymie any move he wants to make.

I would say the board will rubber stamp any major proposal he makes, no bother.

You need to stop saying the "Fourth place trophy" like its wrong to rather have that than a F.A.cup win.

Finishing fourth to decent players looking at our club looks a lot more like a interesting prospect and desirable one to get on board with than an awful league position with an F.A cup win.

I know which I'd rather choose as like I said previously the league is our bread and butter and something to base the future on.

Do you think Lukaku would be angling for a move away if we were fourth?

Would he buggery!

He'd know we were on the cusp of progressing further and with a few class additions whom would see our league position as very favourable would more likely want to join an exciting team challenging at the very top.
