BUMP*

Toooo many negative depressing threads today (understandably I suppose)
BUT
We got a billianaire lads and as D-ream said "things can only get better" Put the bleach away!

It's Everton mate... Didn't the 2-0 score line tell you yesterday that anything can happen with Everton! ( although I agree) but still lol

Feeling sorry for this guy already. He's got some turbulence to manage straight away. Lukaku will be off, Stones also, and does he trust El Coco will 100M to spend ? Does he trust him with 1M to spend ?
One thing Martinez has done well on the whole is buy well with the money he's had. We should let him spend the money and then get a manager in that can actually get the best from them.

He'll have 200m to spend going by your thoughts there.

Why are you feeling sorry for him? He's bought potential, nothing more at this moment in time.

He knows we are not the finished article. If he's as good in business as we are led to believe then he'll help turn that potential into tangible success on and off the pitch.

And,dare I say, if we didn't have all these issues as a club he wouldn't have purchased us at such an opportunistic price.
He knows the score. He's a football person.

And it's reported the Yanks offered 20m more, supposedly Philip Green is angry at Kenwright for chosing FM over the Yanks, for more cash reasons obviously, like he hasn't got enough the greedy $%*!.

I have no doubts whatsoever BK has chosen the right option, and to turn down more money elsewhere shows you it was not all about money when BK was weighing up the options, Woods didn't trust the Yanks either.

Bill had learned from the RS fiasco with Hicks and Gillet.

Sheik Mohammed's DIC group had agreed a price but Parry and Moores wnted to screw as much cas as possible so LFC went to Texas.
