Even Kevin Ratcliffe is at it in the echo, saying it could mean just more of the same etc, are people totally ignoring the initial statement which mentioned promised investment?

I'll always be grateful to Ratcliffe for his time as a player and captain of our club, but he is so, so negative these days, I wish he would just shut up.
In all fairness to Kevin, and @davek for that matter, we've had two decades of misery and negativity. You can't blame passionate Evertonians becoming expectant of mediocrity.
Be patient people. Hopefully by this time next week we have the beginnings of a plan and vision in our possession.

And begs a question to those who have polled 'no' or 'not sure' - what would it take for you to change your vote to 'Yes' ?
Just did. Meant to change it last week when a mate sent a text that had allegedly been sent from Kenwright about Moshiri to a friend of his (Bill) who then forwarded it to a friend who forwarded it to his friends before it somehow landed with my mate.
No idea of it's validity and apologies if it's already been posted and discredited but my mate seems convinced so here it is...

He's a lovely man Ian...with a passion for football that I have brought to focus on the blues!!! Big ability to help with finance that I haven got and a real joy and positivity to get us back to the top. COYB x

I'm not accusing you of winding up, I am of the opinion when you post something it's a genuinely held belief.

However on this occasion the idea that nothing has changed or Moshiri is not already influencing matters in L4 is palpably wrong.
No mate, I should have made that part plain: I knew that you weren't doing that. I wasn't referring to you at all.

And begs a question to those who have polled 'no' or 'not sure' - what would it take for you to change your vote to 'Yes' ?
When the poll was put up, there were no details avaialble, so fence sitting was acceptable - how can you say it's a great deal if you know nothing about it?
Similarly, no wasn't an option.
So I started with a fence post up my arse, but since seeing some vague details and a plan, I came down off the fence in the yes camp.
That's my ramblings anyway

Forgive me Dave, but as one who consistently champions the manager as being on the right road and leading us to the promised land... Why do you appear so reticent towards Mr.Moshiri ?
I am sure in my own mind that the decision to reduce ST prices was suggested by the Box Office management in conjunction with the Marketing Dept, probably RE sat on the fence, BK saw it - quite rightly - as Everton again being first to do something, dare I suggest, radical... and Mr.Moshiri has fully endorsed and supported it.

Possibly because the arrival of Moshiri has for the first time meant Martinez will have to perform, the safety net of Kenwright has efectively been removed from him, if he doesn't perform now then what excuses can be given?, money seems like it will be there, the club will start to sort its sponsorship and commercial deals out to a good standard, the stadium issue will finally start moving in a clear direction, IF the manager can't move forward with that then he will be on the curb, and for someone like dave who thinks the sun shines out his bum then that is a scary thought, so be negative to the new owner, try to deflect thigns away from the golden boy and he will have lined up his next line of defence should be stagnate on the field.

In a nutshell you also have why Dave has championed selling Stones, stated that we will almost certainly lose Lukaku in the past - it's all part of a way to deflect from the manager - 'how could he be expected to progress us when we sold the core of his team' etc etc etc

Dave is the extreme end of the pro Martinez brigade, same way we have people who have been anti martinez from the get go and neither will change their view no matter what happnes, and both are ultimately wrogn and have a thinking that if the Owner thought the same would ultimately be disastrous for the club.

Daves not a stupid poster, he is well aware of what he is doing and plays the long game in taking an opinion that ultimately serves his long term goal/argument

(i) Substantially what happened in that respect? Martinez and Jagielka to my knowledge told reporters that it would be a move to a new level in terms of being able to match player ambitions. It's very vague (and, btw, I wouldn't expect anything more bold or specific from either).
(ii) Again, substantially, what do you have to hold onto there? A 'hope' to get a plan from two years ago brought to fruition, which may or may not be completed.
(iii) Season ticket news: I'm not following you here. Are you suggesting the taking up of 49.9% of shares by Moshiri is the driving force behind that rather than a) a continuation of the club's attempt to be inventive over pricing, or b ) the massive influx of tv cash enabling a price drop for a certain demographic?

Anyway, I'm bit reluctant to post anymore on the subject for now. It appears that legitimate questions are being seized on and used merely to accuse others of 'WUMMING', which sort of closes down debate (it's intention, no doubt).

No I'm accusing him of being a complete wind up merchant that just does it for notoriety, which i have no doubt about now.
