Roberto Martinez discussion

Because most of our senior defensive players have been injured for long periods, and their young replacements are inexperienced and still learning, which includes making mistakes? Now that the senior team is mostly fit, the defending has improved. Had Spurs had to discretely glue-factory the keeper, and were for long stretches missing the starting left back, centre back, right back, defensive midfielder, they wouldn't be doing as well either.

Okay then. What was the excuse last season? Oh Europa league. Spurs are lucky they're not in that

Alcaraz made 14 mostly emergency appearances in 2 years. Howard no longer starts. Kone is a squad player who has been replaced with a better option. We all agree on your overall point, if you feel like changing the subject completely, so why the need to ignore all possible context?
Alcaraz he kept playing in Europe as Stones sat on the bench and he cost us the tie alone. Howard had to get himself injured to free Roberto of making a tough decision. Kone is the biggest donkey to wear the famous #9 I have seen at Everton in over 3 decades I am a supporter, and has no business playing on the left or keeping a superior talent in Mirallas out.

I am changing the subject? If so I apologise as I am doing some work and only read the last post which was yours.

This thread is like having to look after children, and every time you explain something, they just keep answering "but why?" "but why?"

I'm not completely convinced by Martinez either, but it's pointless to sack him now, obviously. And I can process non-binary ideas without short-circuiting.

ok Martinez truthers, you win. The sky really always has been falling! Go forth and sheeple-rouse

Genuine question: if we lose this weekend, will the level of fume be the highest ever on GOT? If not, what is the biggest GOT fume ever?

Nothing will compare to the Semi Final versus the vermin.

Moyes lost 95% of the fanbase that day, he got a few back here and there, but he was done from that day with most.

At the end of the day, we should be beating teams like Bournemouth away, I dont care what their home form is like, I dont care how many games they are unbeaten, how many clean sheets they have or the fact that in their last 3 games they have played like Brazil 1970, I dont care that the ref gave them 6 penos and sent off 3 of our players, I dont care if the earth shifts on its axis, there are no excuses I will find acceptable on Saturday if we lose.

Im not saying he should be sacked, here and now, before I reach fume factor 10, my calm self isnt saying its a must win in order to keep his job, but he can certainly put some "money in da bank" with a victory, defeat is just unthinkable.
