Roberto Martinez discussion

I'm not saying you're knee jerking. I'm saying that you fail to openly accept that there is a mixture of elements which are combined to result in our underwhelming league form.

Martinez.
Injuries to our best defensive minded players.
Poor form of Howard.
No cash to have a squad competing with City.

It's all of the above. Quite clearly.

Neither do Spurs or Leicester

surely that's sarcasm?

Why? The EL and LC are too lowly for our status are they?

*checks how many LCs, ELs and any other cups we've won in the last 20 years*.

Nope. They aren't.

Maybe we should if it means the minute we meet a decent one we go out. See Arsenal, Swansea, Weat Ham and City

Great stuff.

Not at all, But please don't point to it like some shining light ffs, We beat 4 sides we should beat all day of the week, Then come up against a good side and what happens? We go out

Welcome to cup football.

Please don't multi answer me, I have to delete a load of stuff in order to reply.

By sarcasm I meant in the very same post you called someone out for cherry picking by picking two highlights of the past 18 months.

For all that he's not flavour of the month that's unfair on Howard who is one of the better penalty stoppers we have had in goal.

Control your emotions man, I have hugs for you.
He used to be one of the better ones in the league but he hasn't saved one in nearly 3 years, Benteke's in 2013. He's faced plenty of penalties because we love to give away a crap needless penalty.

It's only coming from you in all fairness.

No one with any clarity of thought can look at that transfer record and think it hasn't been an overwhelming success. It just is.
Is it now?

A Manager that continually plays Kone anyway, let alone ahead of superior talent sitting on the bench, has to have his 'eye for talent' queried I would think...

Of the 8 games we've won this season in the league, 6 have come against teams in the bottom half, with 4 of those against the bottom 3.

I keep reading this stat: it's hawked around like some religious article of faith as proof of something or other. What, that we cant beat top sides? City - defeated; Chelsea - defeated.

So what we beat teams in the lower half. Do you only get two points for that or something? I couldn't give a shiny one if we tale them from Arsenal or Villa.

It's like some cultish incantation:

"No wins against teams above us
No wins against teams above us
Lord hear our prayer"

I think you will find it was the lines man at fault mate

We're victims though. It's not right to point out any official's mistake.

I'm instructed to multi-quote.

So the point stands then, the EL and LC results were overlooked.
Victims and conspiracy theorists in the same few pages.

BAWK.

Well you said it and it cant be unsaid. Everton playing the victim card. Nice. I thought we were robbed to be fair, but maybe that's just me playing the victim.

Sidestep noted. Cant say I blame you. The transfer record is almost completely sound.
