Apologies for having an opinion Doctor Abel - I'll have to bow down to your PhD in psychology on this one. Hopefully your dissertation was on the psychology of football supporters and you can point us all to it to better educate ourselves.
Pointing out the FACT that many people live their lives via "routine" does not sugest any mental deficiency (quite a leap by you) - it is simply a case of they have a routine - end of. My father in law is a yorkshire man - suggest to him that he has a curry on a Sunday for a change from a roast and you would think I'd asked him to amputate his legs.
My comment was based on a narrow aspect of a much wider debate and was a generalist comment which offered an opinion as why some people may react in the way that they had or may in the future. Not an attempt to Pschologically profile anyone (half-assed or otherwise).
I decided in my opionion (many years ago) that Goodison is no longer fit for purpose and that something needs to be done about it. If the best way to achieve the desired endstate is a move then so be it - it will be a sad day and I will miss the place - but I will move on and make the most of any new home (if it happens).
Because that is my opinion does not mean that I am blinkered to the risks presented by a change of ownership or that I have decided that means the future is rosey. Because I like you have no idea if it will happen and what it means for the future if it does happen. Not being blessed with crystal balls I simply cant tell.
However - Not all change is good in the same way that not all change is bad - but it sometimes needs to embraced even if it is someway forced upon you. Like I've stated on GOT before - if you are so against change then you would still be living in a cave and crapping in the woods (maybe you do - I dont know).
Your leap that because I opined that a move may be positive must mean that I am naive and would fall for a whole myriad of scams is unfounded so don't worry about that aspect - the MSc that I'm currently studying is (by chance) currently looking at a number of aspects of social sciences and the interaction with technology and social media. I'm alive to the complexity of those sort of issues and wont be sending my life savings off to Eastern Europe or Africa any time soon.
The Msc suggests you're intelligent. The lack of trust in Nigerian sca....erm I mean "opportunities" leaves me believing you're not that intelligent
.
