Why do all our best players pick up hefty long-term injuries and this guy is only ever out for like a week or two? Do your ACL ffs!!!!
I actually think he might come back in when he's fit. This doesn't fill me with hope that he's been dropped
But Martinez refused to be drawn on whether Howard would step straight back in at the weekend against West Bromwich Albion.
“At the moment, Tim is injured so it would be ridiculous for me to mention that,” he said. “What we want is for Tim to be fit and Tim to be feeling himself and fighting for his position and at that moment I am sure it will be very easy to make the right call.”
There'll be booing when his name's called out and when he gets the ball on Saturday. Mark my words.
Love the home support.
"You going the Bournemouth game lad?"
*misplaced pass* "Oh f*** off Everton........yeah I am mate."
That sounds to me like he's defo still dropped.I actually think he might come back in when he's fit. This doesn't fill me with hope that he's been dropped

Not worth even contemplating until and if it happens.
Unfortunately that statement from the manager tells me that he will definitely reinstate Howard on his return. If he persisted with Robles there's no way a manager would say it would ever be "very easy" to make such a call and dump a longstanding #1.
Howard is the one area of life under Martinez that pains me. I can't out up with the madcap defending but his ignorance in this respect is terrible.
