Imagine if we had Cech. That double save was quite nice.

He was the one player I would have loved to have signed in the summer.
Goalkeeper is so important in regards to winning, yet is constantly overlooked. As kids you put the useless lad in nets and it appears to manifest up to the top level. Yesterday, amongst countless other performances this season should have been 3 points.

What I would give to have another Southall right now.

Would've loved it too unfortunately it was never going to happen.

He (Howard) fills our team with doubt and that more than the mistakes themselves us the major failing.

Decided I was strong again to watch back goals after having a breakdown. Jags was poor for 1st but if howard had correct timing he would the ball would have bounced straight into his chest. He went too early and fd it up. 2nd he had no hope. 3rd a top keeper would have saved. We knew we needed a top keeper 2 years ago if we wanted to have a go at top 4. Why didn't we have a go at getting one. We'd be right in the mix this year if we had one. He makes the odd decent save odd decent game. To be honest I thought he was solid against city but I would expect that from a top keeper every game not 1 in 5. but he is nowhere near a top 4 keeper. Nowhere near. Never was. Sell asap

I don't understand why he hasn't pushed for a move over there, i am sure he would love it and get far more apriciation, an all around win win situation, i could imagine the only reason he hasn't is Martinez telling him to stay

because despite what people think he actually does love the club and has a manager that believes in him. don't think he's going to put in a transfer request because fans don't like him

My son pointed something out between Howard and Robles may have been yesterday - when Robles plays the team seem to play a higher line in defence - he seems to think Robles gives more communication breeding confidence i.e, Jags would have automatically know Robles would have been on his way for that ball over the top - For all Howard's fine saves - he does not command his area or distribute the ball that well - If all you defence are communicated by the Keeper then they grow in confidence, TBH Chelsea were knocking on the door before that mistake by both players happened - Another fan stated sat in the Gladwys street end Robles is more vocal as the team is attacking.
It was sad to see we conceded what the punters said was a great pass from Fabregas when in all it was just a lofted lob in which any keeper has to communicate act quickly or shout its yours I am staying on my line!
I all that it's about a Keeper breeding confidence in the last 18 months with Tim there all season it's looked very poor and costly!

Ive mentioned this a few times in this thread...

is that you Dad???
