Howard was spot on last night. Positioning was excellent...
Showed his craft to perfection.

Was made to look exceptional by some very very poor finishing though.

Credit where credits due... But hes still frustrating.

Can't wait for Doug's head to explode when Robles wins us the cup while Howard's been sat on his stupid arse all the way through

I wonder will he hide for a week again as the R on his keyboard implodes!lol

You can rest assured chaps I'll be as happy as Larry if this happens.

For me it's about Everton winning things not just one individual players achievements.

So you can assure me if Robles comes in and plays well and we win a game you will find the R on your keyboard Doug!lol
You are right if we manage to win a trophy it's any 11 that counts - Look back at our Wembley history when we won and players had to sit out 1966- Sandy Brown , and Fred Pickering for starters can anyone else post in other winning finals players who had contributed to getting us to Wembley, and got dropped, not saying Robles will get dropped though as he is a coiled spring of a keeper ! :D

Anyway, I'm glad we all agree we want the best for Everton. I will also acknowledge that I'm happy Howard did his job the other night and made the saves he would be expected to make. I'm not asking him to be Neuer, I just want the absolute basics, the bare minimum from a goalkeeper. And I'm happy he performed that the other night. Well done Tim, a step in the right direction
