Thanks Joe, still working through all the PM's of support I received. I will reply to yourself of course and everyone I've yet to get round to though mate.

Played well yesterday I thought but City aren't the sort of team who exploit his or Robles weaknesses really are they?

He's clearly Martinez favourite come what may but the comments about his plans for a summer move seemed revealing I thought.

I was banned because unlike Howard yesterday, who its universally accepted was MOTM, I'd suggest a person of influence was being 'daft' claiming Robles was our best goalkeeper after one decent performance after only 2 saves (and ignoring a complete balls up of his angles for their goal) last week.

Howard was clearly under pressure yesterday and he performed admirably but he's got a long was to go to convince his doubters, although it's clear Martinez is and the players are firmly in his corner.

Banned again Doug, tut tut, Look Doug footballs all about opinions - Robles made two very good saves, and we beat a very good City side, to come out of the cold , and command his defence like that makes him a better that you and a few other posters have made put he is!
On the positive point Tim last night played IMO for his place meaning competition for places in all parts of our team is the necessity of us getting the best side on the park - I praised Tim today, and you should have given Robles some praise at least , you naughty boy!
I hope Tim keeps his form going, as I feel now Robles may be step up - let's wait , and see, the Manager does in the future over the goalkeeping situation- Also stop getting banned!
The stick you got away with last week - Ii feel you needed protecting Doug!lol

Juding by the comments attributed to Martinez today about "blind faith" I really doubt Robles performances have any effect on Howard, his position or mindset mate. I'm sure I praised Robles last week and said he played well, but how many would have been posting on this thread if Howard had been so poor with his positioning for that goal last week?

He left a gap to his left you could get a Big Al's through after a beano to Margate and yet people claim he was MOTM! Daft mate.

The difference was when Robles played we won Doug or did you forget that point!
as for the goal conceded I blame the defence as you do when Timmy concedes!
