Falsely imprisoned for 18 years and then upon his release he is charged with murder and is pursued by many of those people responsible for his false imprisonment...
Whichever way you look at it, it's a pretty fascinating case, I'm surprised you don't care whether he's innocent or guilty.
As for it being dragged out, I think it makes a nice change not to have 30 years summarised in an hour or so. On the contrary, been this series will no doubt miss many important factors.

Just finished it, I thought it was excellent. What happens to Brendan Dassey is just completely disgusting. Ken Kratz is one horrible specimen
well reasoned argument , maybe i was quick to dismiss. Id struggled to get into as i do think its very much like any documentary you would see on a documentary channel. That said i am kind of getting into more from the end of the 4th episode and will carry on.
Having a family member who actually laps up and is prepared to believe every conspiracy theory going from Madeline McCanns parents to Sandy Hook School shooting to Twin Towers being brought down by the American Government. I do tend not just accept what im being told.
This after all was filmed nearly 10 years ago ( where i am up to) and is edited to whatever the Directors point of view is. It is designed in the hope that people make a decision as to Guilty or not!! but as with my family member has decided they know what happened to Madeline Mccann based on the information they were fed from the interent...how can you ever know you have all the facts?
Of course this is making Netflix money - they want viewers

Just finished, got to feel for Brendan Dassey having worked with people with learning disabilities for a short time. He's definitely borderline and how they treated him was disgusting.

Why wasn't much made about Teresa Halbach's voicemail(?) getting used by her ex and brother, with both of them guessing her password just like that? It seemed suspicious at the time, but nothing else was said.

She seemed a right whopper on those videos so wouldn't be surprised if it was the ex (because of the aforementioned and she was getting pumped by that Scott fella) or even the sinister looking brother.

Yes, it does have the feel of being heavily edited on the side of Avery and I do wonder if we sometimes miss vital facts in favour of the prosecution.
However, it's strength lies in the fact that it is all primary footage and audio, and so it does enable the viewer to base their beliefs on what happened, as opposed to a narrator retelling the story with a unique spin.
Watched it last week, thought it was compelling stuff. Crazy to think he could be innocently locked away twice in his lifetime.
Can't trust anything Colburn or Lenk say, they're proper dodgy.
