couldnt blame him for being low on confidence the disgraceful way hes been treated by martinez

Such a talented player

and how do you know nothing's gone wrong behind the scenes? he probably should have been played more, but he's never really put his hand up this season to prove martinez wrong.

i like him but he's too stroppy and doesn't get his head down and knuckle down, which is probably what martinez wants him to do. The boss is the boss, he has been playing him a bit more lately and he hasn't been amazing as he was last season - not exactly disgraceful is it.

Baines is such an important part of our attacking play, the left midfield spot goes to whoever plays best with him in my opinion. This would by Cleverley (assuming Pienaar is injured/past it).

Would prefer to see Mirallas playing on the right in rotation with Deulofeu to keep them both fresh. Not sure he has the right attitude to be a rotation option though.

Disappointing today

I was hoping he'd put them to the sword today and assert his first team credentials

Weird what you find online.

It'd be a big improvement on the match time he's getting now.

It looks like we're split down the middle. We either love him or hate him. I'm definitely a fan.

I always get the feeling that something good might happen when he's got the ball, and it often does It fizzles when he loses possession, but
he does enough for me to want him starting. And I mean even now, in the time he's had in the last few weeks. At his best, he's great, imo.
