Ok i can see youre just being a WUM.

£8mil on last day of window publically Martinez said he would have gone but no time for a replacement.

McGeady turned the move down.

Oviedo is perma crocked.

Mori is adapting to the league, any comments on him are just nonsense posts from someone with an agenda.

Cleverley would fetch millions.

Typical WUM and reported for saying im a "rent boy renter" as well as other posts.

You and @daz4matty are basically just lying to suit an agenda.

WUMs.
Are you a kid who is lost on here.

Oh and calling someone a "thai terroriser" which i assume is because i live in Asia is not only racist but quite disturbing really.

Suggest you go down to your local police station and try telling them your views.

Ah, thanks very much Thai Terroriser Zatty.

So in 2 and a half seasons, he's failed to;

Sort the goalkeeper out, pretty crucial position
Do better at LB than the ones already in situ
Bring in one utterly useless player and a youngster as backup to our senior CB
Not bring in a senior CB of any note (Alcaraz was his first attempt... wow)
We play with two DMs as you well know, and to shoe-horn the average Cleverley into the team he keeps dropping Ross Barkley into this position to accommodate him, nullifying his attacking capability. Cleverley goes off, Ross gets further forward, sets up the third. Not complicated.
Completely failed to solve the left side of midfield - despite trying McGeady, Kone, Naismith, Barkley, Cleverley etc out there.
He's got one functioning CF and thank god he's as good as Lukaku is.

'Much better'.

Your like a little baby.
You called me Rafael but it was in one ear an out the other.
No time for grasses you odd little boy

Makes you wonder if Distin and Eto'o both saw the road we were heading down under Martinez, add in Mirallas aswell it's not often a manager falls out with 3+ players in the space of 1 calender year unless their are problems behind closed doors.

Lukaku's face yesterday said It all when Stoke scored I wouldn't be suprised if he tells the manager to do one soon aswell.

@davek I really want Bob to win, I really do. I want him to succeed and be boss and win trophies. But I'll keep repeating this.

Against Bournemouth, Palace, Norwich, Stoke and Leicester we should have got 13/15 points. I was at the Palace game, I don't know how we didn't win 5-1.

We have won 3. We dropped 8 points from winning positions. If we had got eh 13/15 our play deserved we would be level with City. Not amazing peformances, not superhuman. Just closing out games we should close out. No improvement.

Now Barkley/Del/Rom are playing well but Stones/FM are suffering with the lack of CM cover. If we are 3-2 up against a side that has recently pasted Utd and City I'm not being a blert when I say I would like the manager to make a defensive substitution and protect our lead, and close down players.

The next games are important but being Everton they are our toughest ones.

So can I say kind of in kind of out. Not knee jerking, not head in the sand. Kneeing sand? (Not jerking head)
We are midtable and in the SF of a cup. It's not a disastrous first half of the season but we can and will do better defensively.

You can look at any team and say: "yeah, but we should have had the three points there and in that game there...". It's what fans do. All fans of all teams. The worst thing of the season so far has been the throwing away late on of games won and then lost...or drawn which feel like a loss. They are proper kick in the bollocks moments and need eradicating. But the key is that a defence can be sorted out more quickly than a lack of creativity and forward prowess. It can be done in one fell swoop in fact...and we all know what that swoop is and needs to be.

Martinez has got us playing football again...proper football in our traditions. We just need a a Big Nev to go along with it and we are in business big time. You see that, I'm sure you do.

I want to win with style and entertaining football, I think most people will sit in that camp
Strange thing to say you don't want to be entertained...
I don`t beleive it to be strange in the slightest.
I`d much rather watch 38 scrappy one nil wins a season than 38 banzai defeats.
No matter how they come, there`s no such thing as a bad 3 points.
At the end of the day we ALL want the same thing.

Papers are reporting that our recent troubles have left Martinez wanting to strengthen three positions in January, partially funded by the sale of Mirallas and Naismith.

Those positions are:

Striker
Midfielder
Central Defender

Not goalkeeper. Depending on the accuracy of these reports, if Martinez truly does not see an issue with Howard in goal, I've lost all faith in him.

Is that 'attacking/attractive football' bringing results? No.
Does it look like bringing results anytime soon, going on our last 6-7 games? No.I'm not remotely arsed about the plaudits you seem to desperately crave. We had that under Kendall v2. I'd much rather we were George Graham's (Boring, boring) arsenal & winning a few matches with our defender's arms almost permanently raised, than RM's Everton - getting beat at home by the likes of loysturr & stoke, but having nice things said about our approach.

Bollocks to what others think of us or our football, the overwhelming majority of us demand results. RM's football isn't bringing us that many, is it?

And that's the bottom line.

tells me all I need to know right there. Thanks for that. It means I know where you're coming from and I dont feel any need to persuade you because you are basically someone I couldn't ever relate to in a footballing sense.

I admire your honesty on that though.

No, it's more than that. One on one, we often give the opposition too much space. When we're marking them, we're often giving them three or four yards, which means when anyone with decent skills gets tbe ball they have time to control the ball and turn. Which, in turn, means more balls are coming into the box which should be getting snuffed out earlier. We shouldn't be too tight, because we'd run the risk of either getting skinned or giving cheap fouls away, but we need to be tighter.

Galloway was miles away from his man all the time in the first half, but was plainly told what to do at half time because he got a lot closer in the second half. It's not rocket science, but it plainly needs working on. A better keeper would help, as would having Jagielka fit again, but there's a fundamental problem with our defending which needs working on.

It's eminently fixable though, but it's going to be a big part of how Martinez is judged come the end of the season.
Fair comment. But Howard out and any other decent PL GK in between those posts increases our chances of victory by a conservative 50%, imo.

Surely you wouldn't be happy watching Pullis type tactics each week,,surely you would want to see a progression into playing attractive and entertaining football.
