Roberto Martinez discussion

The sad thing is, just before the Bournemouth game I looked at our next 6 league fixtures and genuinely thought we could possibly get 18 points from them, and at the start of the year be really pushing for Champions League. 4 games and no wins later.....Lol @ me.

Right now, Martinez has taken us backwards. Anyone arguing to the contrary is hanging onto other teams having more money than they did under Moyes.

Have you watched us play mate? We are playing better stuff than we have in years. Would you rather be settling for 7th by hoping Cahill gets his nut on a corner or playing sexball like we do when it clicks?

When was our last penalty and spawn win?

Earn your luck.

Wise up.

We have had better penalty appeals than those two today turned down this season.

You don't "earn" luck.

She is a capricious mistress whom doles out her affection for no obvious reason.

That is why it is called "luck".

Except in Everton's case where we never get any luck......never have done in all my years following the team.

you thought that was unlucky ? Fact is we don't win many, haven't done so for a while and it's simply not good enough.

Re: a replacement for Martinez ... there are plenty of managers out there with far better credentials (after all he's won 1 FA Cup and been relegated) .. and we can always dream ... Simeone

Lol

I've just turned the volume down on my tv and i swear in the distance i can here the sound of hundreds of hacks frantically typing out gushing articles talking about the brilliantly entertaining football that this Everton team is playing thanks to Martinez.

Easy games 3D 1L. Not easy at all.

2 penalties, is the manager to blame? really? like really?
Next week when we concede a 30 target to lose he won't be to blame then either l. DDG couldn't if stopped either goal today so don't blame LVG, Palace scored a pen and a wonder goal so it ain't Hughes fault.
You will blame who you are prepared to blame.
