Even he has had corner issues this season.

I'd have him here in a flash though and have been wanting him for about 4 years now.

Schmeichel's been worse than Howard. Leicester are doing well despite him, mainly because they're the highest scoring team in the league.

That is highly incorrect mate.

He's been great but still has a few errors in him like most keepers.

I know you would/have mate, honestly I can't see any reason why we shouldn't be after him and think he could be the difference between where we are now to where Leicester are. They wouldn't be in that position if they had a crap Goalie. like yourself I've been onto him for a few years.

My issue with Howard is he just doesn't look like he commands his area or has decent communication with his defenders anymore.

Even the Newcastle keeper Elliot today looked more vocal and organised. Sadly I feel this season should be his swansong.

They are, at least on the attacking side. They're really one of the best teams I've ever seen breaking with the ball at pace. Defensively, though, they've allowed exactly as many goals as we have, in one fewer match played. Schmeichel's saving fewer than two out of every three shots on target. He's really not that good.

I don't think he's the complete goalkeeper or anything just feel he's someone who we could realistically get and who help us push on a bit saving us an extra few points a season . it's all about opinions mate.

This is my problem with the people who think Howard is the worst goalkeeper in the league. They genuinely think someone like Schmeichel or Pantilimon or Begovic would improve us, when it's really not the case. We need a top end goalkeeper to match our ambitions, not a mediocrity.

Agree that we need someone with quality, and the first three do not offer that. Schmeichel is not good enough and neither is Pantilimon.

Begovic I would have potentially gone for before his move to Chelsea, as he looked confident at Stoke. After this season I'm not so sure.

Personally, if it has to be a PL player (which people seem to be focusing on) then I'd go for Adrian, as Butland will be out of the question.

Big, commanding, good reflexes and happy to come off his line. He's certainly performed well against us each time we've played West Ham.

I fully don't agree with you about Schmeichel. But hope he has a shocker this weekend.
