Yes they did but if a player has that something special, we all sort of know it well in advance of their years, basically what everyone was saying about Rooney and Barkley type of hype. Personally I would persevere with Robles for a year or two then bring in a young keeper, assuming we sign one in January or the summer, give him a couple of years to mature like a fine wine or stale milk depending on how he develops lol

See it depends on who we sign. I don't rate Robles as a first choice keeper in all honesty, He is solid, but so is mannone / Pantilimon / mucha / Bogdan etc type of keeper. The ones who wouldnt make a first choice claim at a top club but a lower one would. So i agree with your thoughts of developing a young goalkeeper behind him and hopefully have a gem on our hands.

To be fair as solid keepers go, Ruddy wasn't half bad and he was on the payroll for a while, so it isn't like we cant find decent keepers.

I've heard Robles studied chemistry with Mathieu Flamini and he actually discovered this new chemical that might replace oil one day. Joel being forever the gentleman let Flamini take all the credit.

think we put Howard in charge of catching them mate, only he shuts his eyes and the little uns manage to squeeze past him at the near post and through the net, he did try catch a few with his eyes open once though only he did this bizarre starfish and the little ones just simple went underneath his clown like flapping

Unheard ? He is being lauded all over Italy and any European football fan will have heard of the kid. As a Milan follower im basing my wish for Everton signing him based on what I have seen.

Funny how the FM/FIFA put downs come from people who think a player who they haven't heard of are based on a game because that person isn't aware of the said name. Some of us do watch a lot of European football my friend its easily accessible via sky and bt (also streaming which I do not advocate in any such illegal way) model citizen mate.
