So you think Martinez would have started Al Habsi if he'd been fit? Even though he actually named him on the bench? Please get your head out the clouds Doug. Robles is Martinez's cup keeper, he's been starting for us in both the FA and League Cup ahead of Howard and he started every cup game ahead of Al Habsi at Wigan

Robles was on the bench for the crucial semi against Millwall when Al Habsi was fit after playing in the earlier rounds (setting a predcedent for his usage of goalkeepers in important games) and returned for the final when Al Habsi was carrying an injury (see @Moomin) for the final.

Also last season Howard played in all our league cup game and Europa cup matches (bar 1 dead rubber) and would no doubt have played in our FA Cup games had he been fit and available.

Soz I forgot Howard started for us in the FA cup in 2014 including the quarter final away at Arsenal. And also forgot Howard's been conveniently injured for every cup game this season too

In the interests of fair play, and without wanting to involve myself in this, wouldn't it be equitable if Doug would agree to have a Robles avatar (chosen by Mike) if the reverse situation arises? And Robles starts against City in either leg.
