I don't think reigns as a heel works to be honest. He is in essence the perfect face, just pushed far too quickly alongside the infamous cena. also cena all this time and reigns would be more over.

It's going to be either a Ambrose heel turn to win or perhaps he loses and helps reigns win in the final.

Or......He helps reigns win (as that is the predictable outcome here) then on raw he turns on him for whatever reason they give him to. That way he can fight for the title and keep it occupied before the real program starts again at the rumble.

I'd still prefer a wyatt title run though, just the old school taker fan in me.

Don't think we've seen enough of Reigns as a heel to judge to be honest.

Agree with the Wyatt thing. He'll get it soon enough I think.

perhaps not, but I was reading or watching something about rollins not too long ago about his face turn and he can bring a lot more high flying face moves once he comes back where reigns seems to just have his one move set. Works great as a face because it is the table turning stuff with token crowd pleasing moments like the howl.

see I like reigns generally, if he had a slower build and no shield stuff he would probably be massively over by now, but the general in your face stuff everyone talks about is just stopping people seeing him as he should have been.

I don't mind Reigns either. It seems he's been picked as the next big thing, not really his fault. He won't say no to it! But yeah all a bit too soon.

I also like Reigns

I don't get the hate really

He's probably the best choice they have at the moment

He's hated because of bad booking.....the fans wanted Daniel Bryan, Vince forced Reigns on them....alsir some of the scripted promos he was given to say (by Vince & hhh) where embarrassing!.....Reigns needs to take some responsibility for his promos, they've just been God awful...

Vince needs to remember, the fans picked Austin, he wasn't forced down their throats.....Rocky was originally hated because he was originally forced on them...he turned heel and slowly won the fans over, then he was accepted as a top guy...

The best Top guys take that spot, it can't just be handed to them....

It used to happen all the time

Kerry Von Erich won the IC Title something like his first night in and fans were fine with it, because he was a good guy and the person he beat, Mr. Perfect, was a hated bad guy

And Austin was most definately the recipient of a mega push long before he got over

When he won the KOTR in 96, he wasn't really that over, but they stuck with him during that period. He got over when he started cutting promos on Bret Hart, as a heel, and then the WWF booked the double turn at Mania 13

Hogan came in and won the title right away in 84 and fans were fine with it

It's only recently that fans have started "rebelling" when it comes to this stuff

One thing I've noticed from watching loads of Attitude Era Raws, is that the roster seems waaaay smaller and for the better.

You have the big 3 in Austin, Rock and HHH usually fighting for the belt, with Big Show and Mankind getting little looks.

And Jericho types just coming up.

Then you have 'teams' of people, like Dx, the Brood, Acolytes and so on.

(And really terrible women!)

I don't get why they don't just try and recreate the stories and thing from then. But with PG obviously. Sake n

Seems like Wyatt has lost every big feud his been in...and can't see Taker putting him over tonight either....
he has been horribly booked. its a bit of a strange one as they keep giving him high profile feuds but against people who can't lose them, cena, reigns, taker etc it's a bit of a catch 22 for him in effect.

apart from it being on the fantasy side of things, I really like the family angle they have, especially if they put the title on him and had the family keeping it there. I'd love a run where he keeps going and eventually gets the no one at ringside match and he wins clean before getting the big changeover against either a momentum based face or a lesnar.
