Uninspiring Everton....

Just got in from Craven Cottage and Moyes HAS to take full responsibilty for that. Fulham are/were [Poor language removed] and were there for the taking. So why, oh why did he replace Jo(who was struggling a bit but holding his own) with Fella(a lazy arse midfielder)? All he had to do was keep Jo on and throw Vaughan or Yak on with him and take off the yet again ineffective Osman so we could have pushed up and put pressure on. But no, he asks Cahill & Fella to push up, bnoth have no pace and are NEVER gonna beat Hangeland in the air....we sit back, they attack and you could see the Fulham goal coming a mile off!

SOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo bored of this bullshit 451! You'd've thought he'd learnt his lesson after Beattie and Johnson :@

Where are you based?

Oh Please, you're really overreacting. Heitinga is new into the country nethermind the club, the same counts with Diniyar Billy. Whats so different to last season? Lescott's left for £24m which I feel thats daylight robbery, considering hes no-where near Phil Jagielkas quality. We've brought in two class players that I know that'll work wonders in the club, one dimensional? Like hell, I know that we are capable of Long-Ball, on the ground, around the wings and Physical football. I know we've had a pretty bad start to the season but seriously, come on. Jagielka, Yakubu and Arteta coming back will change the squad completley, more fluid for a start.

Cream allways rises to the top.

Arteta - 6 weeks away
Jags - Late November
Yak - Possibly 2 weeks to full fitness.

So untill then he better use the players he's got, the players he's bought, and start to have more than the 1 plan.

Take this as a rant at Moyes all you want but seriously....

Upon seeing the team out today -

Howard
Hibbert Yobo Distin Baines
Osman Rodwell Neville Pienaar
Cahill
Jo
Did anyone think that was an inspired team that could create chances and be able to have more than just a plan A.

Then look at the bench -

Nash, Fellaini, Heitinga, Billthekid, Yakubu, Vaughan, Gosling,

Thats, oh something like £40million on the bench. But yet Moyes doesnt feel that £14million worth of player in Billythekid and Heitinga (who came on due to an injury to Neville) are ready to play. Or that Fellaini or Yakubu are ready to be in the 1st team at the moment.

So if that is the case...Moyes must feel that the team he put out have invention, creativity, and above all more than just plan A.

Didnt look like that today. It looked like Fulham sussed the game plan out and wore us down to win the match. In fact, that happened since the start of the season.

We are so unbalanced and so 1 dimensional, so predictable, Im beginning to think that its not a surprise anymore.

But with £40million worth of talant on the bench, surely we have options? Remember them? The ones that Moyes says we never have?

Blackburn at home is a must win game now. Which I cant see happening unless Moyes does something drastic with the team. Its not working. AT. ALL.

Not telling him how to do his job, but I think its about time he shuffled the pack, made changes, play the players he's bought, and breathe some new life into a side that is, frankly, starting to stink.

I regard this as a top quality post and not a rant. Everything you have stated above is spot on. + rep. (y)

It is spot on. I was disappointed to see such a negative starting line up, predictable tactics, strange substitutions (Jo off for Fellaini left us without a recognised striker on the pitch but two on the bench!?)

The 4-5-1 is getting too predictable, teams have sussed us out (not too difficult to realise the right side is easily exploited).

Need to start changing things and taking some risks Davey.

would like to make my own thread up about this but here goes.

why bring a striker off for a midfielder?
why not play 442 ever?
why push forward desperately to try and get an equaliser and not a WINNER?
not quite sure what fellaini offers just yet tbh.

he should have moved cahill into midfield and brought the yak on or Billy for neville.

So it took you 3 hours to go from London to London?

You've never been round london on public transport have you!! :p

Imo it's cos he's too cautious. He doesn't want to take too much of a risk. At 1-1 there's a point to lose, at 2-1 there's nothing, so he's more willing to go for it.

We definitely need to come up with a new formation how many teams stick to the same thing for so long? I'm sure opposition teams don't bother scouting us before they play us because they know they can just use the report from last season!
I think this one would be worth a try:
Howard
Heitinga Yobo Distin Baines
Rodwell
Cahill Fellaini
Pienaar Bily
Jo

We get the ball out to the wings where our more creative players can use the space to create chances. Bily and Pienaar can swap sides during the game so we can change from crossing to Jo to cutting inside and allowing Cahill and Fellaini more time to join the attack.
Despite the goals against Sigma, Rodwells clearly a defensive player so he can sit back in front of the defence which allows the full backs and centre midfielders to get forward without leaving us open to a counter attack.
Its not a great deal different to the 4-5-1 but with the wingers playing further up field when the balls on one wing the opposite winger can get into the box and provide an extra target
