Aye Browning is doing just fine. It's a bit weird to criticise his performance today. Thought he was solid. Would prefer Coleman like but that goes without saying.

he's obviously out of position, still gets up and down though, can time a tackle as well, be good back up with Mori, when the stones/galloway combo gets going

Yep. It will do his confidence and experience good these games he's playing. He should realise that he can hack it at the least.

He's achieved more than 99% of the youth players usually do in playing for Everton already.

Hope he makes a good career with us or whoever. Boss thighs on the lad.

His thighs aren't as good as mine lid.

This kid has had a very sharp learning curve and come out on top. I'm not totally convinced that he will end up the finished product but his improvement is commendable. I was certain early on they had targeted him as a weakness, he was stretched all over the show but survived. The kid is just that so don't be too hard on him he is maturing well

Galloway got tested more than him particularly early on in the game. In a weird way the fact that no one (apart from this thread obvs) is discussing Browning at length is testament to how effective he was.

Was a bit shaky early on but grew in to it and kept Coutinho quiet for 99% of the game.

Not one of our best performers no, but anyone suggesting he had a poor game is being silly.
