That was worse than the infamous "Neville VS Wigan" games for me.

Atrocious.

Norammly unlike a lot of people i've been ok with him playing most of the time, what he lacks in pace and unbookable tackling he makes up in positioning and experience.

But there has to be a limit where his negatives far outweigh his positives, and today he crossed that line really.

We might not be any better with Besic in there overall but he can only get better as Barry gets worse.

We might be a hell of a lot better with Barkley in there though.

He was so bloody awful... Usually an advocate of him but he was so bad today he may as well have worn a Spurs shirt. Seriously he put their two best chances on a plate for them.

FFS

Ireally think in hes contract there is a clouse that he must play if hes flt. How Beslc can get 10 min then 20 the adjust him slowly i just dont get it , because he was far far worse then Besic last game

I thought Barry started better this season than last and in general, while not being great, hasn't been our issue. Today that was not the case. Just atrocious and there really isn't any excuse for it. Of course he "can't" be subbed and I am sure he will be first on the team sheet against Chelsea.

Can't keep conceding midfield week after week. It's going to cost us eventually.

It'd be fine if Martinez used him sporadically, to come in and do a job in a big game, like Chelsea did with Makelele towards the end.

Not sure he'd be willing to accept such a role at Everton, though.

Was dreadful against Spurs last season as well, think their style of play exposes his weaknesses.

They have a lot of strong and quick players, and better movement than we do, so you might be right there.

The problem is that for all of Barry's strengths, his weaknesses are exposed a bit too often these days.

Though the fact that said strengths are ignored in the wake of that does irk me. His passing is superb, for example.

As long as it is sideways or back . He has had his day IMO
