John Stones transfer saga

All this "if he is sold then Martinez should walk" crap. We have no idea what is going on. People STILL trying to blame the board ffs.

Board members have said,he is not for sale.

If he refuses to play or forces our hand then it is him NOT the board at fault.
You cannot fault the lad for having ambition however he has a contract with us for the next 4 years and now that Bobby has said he is not for sale that should be the end of it. He needs to get his head down and play for the shirt like he has always done and we as fans should support him. If we don,t then we are no better than chelsea

Clubs can bid, not saying that. We don't go to the papers leaking bids, getting our pals out to speak about how they shoudlnmove. If Barnsley said no, we would have walked away but behave like che!sea.we don't even know about our rejected bids as the club don't leak it

Would we? You don't know that at all.

Behave like Chelsea? What want to do best for themselves? How dare they.

See, I find the faux outrage at a fan yelling at Stones quite amusing.

Fact of the matter is this - that is a guy who probably follows Everton everywhere, who has seen said player try to screw our entire season over with days left of a transfer window for personal greed.

He can shout whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned. Sure I find it distasteful and wouldn't have personally done it, but I can fully understand why he did.

Stones made his choice to abandon ship - some fans will react accordingly. Crocodile tears don't change a thing. John Stones has zero sympathy from me.

I can understand too, but it doesn't make it right.

Completely agree, the point I am making is that all the obsessors still making out it is the board's fault if he goes.

Unnervingly close to an Alan Partridge breakdown, that. Next stage is driving to Dundee in his bare feet and gorging on Toblerone.

Worryingly enough, as Besic was buying the place out of pringles, John had a basket full of Toblerone, DARK AND MILK chocolate ones.

My god.... its begun.

If you agree about the way chelsea do their business then you are a modern fan who agreed with the format of the champion league. Off to work now, not all of can debate on here while working

I can see legal action following what Martinez said big time.

Some one is going to get it.

It's obvious.

Chelsea aren't so rich to be above the law
This is what I'm hoping for. The moment the transfer window shuts, we employ the best law team we can afford and go after Chelsea.

If we kick up a big enough fuss, we may even get somewhere towards shifting the transfer window to purely off-season.

Lots of references to 'bigger' clubs on that forum, but what they really mean is 'richer' clubs.

I wonder for how long they think Chelsea have been a 'bigger' club - their definition - than Everton.

Five years? Eight years? How long?

I'd say the last 15 years, with at least another 15 years of them being bigger than us coming our way.
