John Stones transfer saga

reading through the last few pages think emotions running high here and it feels like people saying pretty much the same thing but just sounds bit different. maybe I am being presumptious but don't think anyone was saying that money overrides all issues and Stones has definitely been effected. I also think its possible to understand that people still suffer despite being rich but feel that our time might be better spent worrying about people who have nothing. People on benefits are much more likely to be suffering from mental health issues and it shames society. Stones hopefully has good friends around him and they should be supporting him. It is never nice to see someone upset. Personally if I have the spare time to worry though it will be for someone sleeping rough last night.

I'm sure he wants to, but I'm pretty sure he didn't decide to hand in a transfer request on his own, and he shouldn't be advised to do it unless his agent in 100% sure the club will let him go.

Isn't the point about issuing a transfer request because the club are saying at that point they won't release the player. The TR surely is a broadside from the player in effect a statement from the player

Yep that's the end of it.

Well let's put it this way - either Martinez and Stones are here this season, or both aren't.

I can see legal action following what Martinez said big time.

Some one is going to get it.

It's obvious.

Chelsea aren't so rich to be above the law

Do you think Martinez would walk if he's sold?

I gotta admit, if my boss publicly belittled my statement, believing what I was saying was the company line, then I would be questioning my own position that's for sure.
After what Martinez said last night, if stones is sold now he will walk and he'd have every right to

Just seen another one on Twitter of some scals running after.stones shouting abuse. Can't link vid as don't know how it works. Despise some of our fans

All this "if he is sold then Martinez should walk" crap. We have no idea what is going on. People STILL trying to blame the board ffs.

Board members have said,he is not for sale.

If he refuses to play or forces our hand then it is him NOT the board at fault.

There is an arguement that they have broken rules re tapping up but I am not quite sure what employment or contract law they have broken.

Football wouldn't want issues around players contracts tested further for in effect denying a player who is an employee the same employment rights as just about everyone else is hard to defend
