I'm just not gonna act like we done Man City over this deal, they got ripped off and we got the deal of the century.

They definatly got the best of this whole saga, not us.

But they already had the upper hand by spending £200million already so I dont really see how Citeh gain from it when they were in a better position to start with IMO.

We're in a sticky position I agree but last season we got 4 players in on the last day of the season. Now we have £24million to spend (or whatever) to get the same amount of players in. Hopefully it will make things easier, the range will be wider, the quality can be better.

If not, it goes tits up and we stay midtable.

Not happening in today's climate though is it? Lescott's agent, Citeh's reps etc etc were probably all over the club for weeks telling him to release his "slave"....because as Blatter said himself, footballers are treated as slaves arent they?

Blatter was a disgrace saying that. Getting paid grotesque sums of money for enjoying a hobby? Sorry Mr Blatter, i wont mind being a slave then.

In that case 24 million lashes for lescott must be the order of the day.

Notice its subject to personal terms - i.e he can leave to go to the next 'one season wonder team' who offer 30 pieces of silver in his direction for his services.

Incidently how much will wolves get of the 24mill ?

I wonder how he'd behave if he failed the medical and ManC pulled out?

If he'd have managed to stay focused I'd keep him, but since he started to show bad attitude and disruption in the team... he had to go. I just hope Moyes can pull another couple of rabbits out of his hat and strengthen the team significantly before the window closes.:(
