Heard the same from a Barnsley fan at work. Doesn't rate him too much and would've been happy with a million for him. Think we're paying £2mill aren't we?

True. We do have a very good core of young players Stones, Browning, Galloway, Garbutt, Deulofeu, Besic, Barkley, Lukaku.

To be fair, potentially(key word) we do have a very good young crop of players coming through together. It's quite exciting if they all develop how we expect them too. Doesn't address the here and now though.

Think he's including the likes of Ledson, Dowell, Pennington etc in the 'Golden Generation' tag too.

well i trust the views of those in the youth thread and it does seem to have that golden generation feel about it. just hope such things can happen in this day and age.
