I found the PL hard going as well...watching Everton was not easy.

You have to worry about Martinez when he makes signings like this.

I don't worry about RM at all. He is on his mission of building a team from youth to senior and I think he is on his way of doing a fine job. I thought us Everton fans where a patient lot but it appears we want instant results. Maybe we should go back for moyes if we want to tread water in the league and be ecstatic if we finish top 8. Give RM his contract to see if we are growing stronger from youth to senior which obviously will show blips on the journey. Its the end result that counts. At least he will attempt to qualify for CL or to win things rather than be content on finishing in a stable but 100% certain @win fuc....k all position. Give me a failed tryer any day over a content top half finisher.

He did well today both going forward and chasing back - the lad certainly does have ability but the problem is making that happen consistently in our blue shirt - would love to be proved wrong and see him command a place in the side with quality performances - just not seeing it !

He is and always will be a confidence player. I don't think Martinez has given him that, tbf. Played well on occasions and got hauled off on the 70th minute mark almost all the time.

I hope he gets a good club this summer. I'm sure he'll do well in an average PL/Championship team.

That seems to be the problem with most of our players. The only ones that are consistently good are McCarthy, Stones, jags, baines and maybe Coleman. They all had a few poor games each last season as well though.
