Didn't watch football growing up...so, Cam Neely. He'd score a hat trick and then knock your teeth out with a check or his fist.

Kick his ass, Sea Bass!

Loved Cam. He was, basically, a Duncan Ferguson only a greater scoring threat. And who only faced five minutes in a little box rather than time in the clink for dishing out much needed justice during the course of play.

Manager: David Moyes.

Players: Andrei Kanchelskis. Tim Cahill.

The haters, please don't kill me. I grow up watching Mike Walker, HK MK3 and WH Smith managing the team. I know he won nothing but Moyes helped the club to get some pride back in the league. I hope you understand, thanks.
desperate times in having DM as a great EFC Manager but as you say you never seen the great days!

My hero when I was growing up was myself. As I had to study so much and learn everything I know therefore my hero was me.

Other than that? Probably Big Dunc.

Johnny Morrissey, then when I started playing in defence, Terry Darracott because my goal scoring record was similar

Big Bob Latchford, what a legend

Dave Thomas with his socks around his ankles

Mike Lyons, the ultimate grafter, never left anything on the pitch that man - hero.

Alex Young & Roy Vernon ... as a kid had gone to a few games 61 & 62 but I had the great privilege of being a regular by 62/63 when we won the league. Alex & Roy scored regularly throughout the season, and one or the other scored in every one of the last 9 games which made us CHAMPIONS!! Memories Alex's header v Spurs & Royston slotting away his penalties. Then Bally ...

Southall, Stevens, Van Den Hauwe, Ratcliffe, Mountfield, Reid, Steven, Heath, Sharp, Bracewell, Sheedy, Gray, Harper, Richardson, to name a few.

Most of the team from 83-87, seriously any from Southall,Steven, Stevens, Ried, Ratcliffe, Sheedy or Sharp.
