Amokachi. For no reason whatsoever. I constantly picked him for my fantasy football team even though at the back of my mind I knew he wasn't good enough.

Alan Ball, Ali and outside Everton this guy on the ground:-
Charlie George.webp

Has to be Joe Royle why because he proved all the doubters wrong the stick he got on the terraces was unbelievable - Then became a very good Manager for us ! Best player though has to be Bally, I saw George Best play once he was special too!

My Grandad would testify to those saying Alan Ball too, Brian Labone was also a hero of his, My Everton hero would have to be Duncan Ferguson, he showed the fight we all craved for in the dark days. Outside of Everton it would have to be Zinedine Zidane - Pure Class.

Kevin Sheedy.

Probably because I was left footed, plus he was [Poor language removed] unbelievable.

......I remember watching a Lancashire League game at Bellefield v Blackburn. Sheedy was Blackburn coach on the far side of the pitch opposite those watching. Andy Hinchcliffe was watching and quite a few were after autographs, little Eggs was a kid in those days and I told him that Hinchcliffe couldn't lace Sheedy's boots. On the final whistle he bolted across the pitch to get Sheedy's autograph. He was a fine player and your judgement is correct.
