I don't get all that 'due a win/loss' stuff.
Neither do I. You could argue that we should deserve a win if we'd regularly played well, yet results hadn't gone our way.

We haven't played well though and rightfully results haven't gone our way. We're where we are on merit; we aren't winning games on merit.

Our form in the last eleven is one win, four draws and six defeats. Not good enough...

According to Martinez, that's exactly what is happening.

Yeah...

50-1 to go down. I am tempted
Not surprised either.

The bookies aren't like this......

I don't think we'll go down but it's abysmal that we're having to look at the table and work out where our points are coming from to stay up.

This isn't the early 2000's when we had a squad of terrible players and expected to be around here.

Has to go!

Below CP + WBA is not acceptable at this stage of the season.

Hmmm, I wonder which two teams that were below us before this weekends fixtures have changed managers this season.....

Not that'd I'd want Pulis or Pardew mind!

What held us back under moyes was the fact he wouldn't change anything and it meant we stagnated. it took him most of his 11 years before he reached that point.

Martinez is at that point now, sending the team out every week because he believes they are good enough to win. when you aren't winning games in runs as such as 11 and 12 then it clearly isn't working. We aren't playing the tip 4 every week we are playing the teams below us and still not winning . so our last two league wins have been genuinely January and December and before that nNovember and October. We are currently winning one game a month which is frightening for any fan. more to the point is we failed to win any game in February which considering two draws in that time we should really b winning more often.

what our manager has brought into the club is fantastic as it was at Swansea and Wigan. The problem is if that is all we have to go on then we will end up just like them. II'm happy to give Martinez more time to change things if we can get comfortable this year but when the man is failing to see what subs to make or what tactics to use then how is he going to change over the summer?

Looking at the equivalent matches from last season (or random relegated equivalents for those who came up), of the next 8 PL matches we won 7 and drew 1.

Stoke A 1-1
Newcastle H 3-2
QPR A (Fulham) 3-1
Southampton H 2-1
Swansea A 2-1
Burnley H (Cardiff) 2-1
Man Utd H 2-0
Aston Villa A 2-0
