I've just read we need to sack Martinez and bring in Royle...

25 times the manager.

It's a fair point. Let me be a little more clear about the question. FLHD said he wanted him sacked after Hull. Which means he's advocating a mid-season sacking. Which means we go with an in house appointment or someone who didn't have a job at that time. Surely that list can't be too long?
There'd have been plenty of takers for the job, it'd have been for a Bill to choose who he wanted same as he did with Martinez

So you don't believe that in playing well last year, in seeing what we do to teams that try to press us high up the pitch has rresulted in teams sitting deep and frustrating us? And that a lack of creativity is the reason we can't open up teams, especially at goodison??

you say change the tactics yet we don't have the personnel.

442? Every team in the league pretty much plays 451. Recipe for disaster.

2 wingers? far too open and predictable. It wouldn't help one iota in my opinion.

He needs time, the manager. Time to bring in suited players and develop those who have shown an aptitude for adapting to the style.

Hold on mate, last season is history it is this season that is a misery which I referred to. I am not the only one who is concerned about what is happening. As you say teams have been frustrating us because the managers have got wise to the RM style so is a bit of change in order?

If we don't have the players then whose fault is that, not BK's. Then why did RM give contract extensions to old players who would be totally unable to adapt instead of getting on with the younger players and building for the future in his mold which is to the point of what you are saying about giving him time. But how much?

Where did I advocate using two wingers, or using 4-4-2, please show me!

I think you read an awful lot in my post which in fact was not there.

Been thinking about this, I have said before he needs time to bring in players that suit his system, But, Why does he insist on playing a system that does not suit the players we have? Why not change the way we play until he feels he has the correct players to implement his ideas?

Bet anyone any money Royle would not have a squad this good sat in such a terrible position

ahh yes I remember him, we had a really good season..looked exciting, then the next season was terrible..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That is the conundrum.
