Ha Ha Ha.

eddy you joined 5 days ago and every single one of your posts have been about getting shut of Martinez. Who did you used to be before you were banned?

Lol.

Behave David

There was a kopite Eddy somebody or other banned the other day but @eddy is no relation to him.
Plenty of Blues have negative views on Martinez, it doesn't mean they're kopites on a wind-up, or have been banned before

Unlike the OP ...

It didn't happen that year - we actually lost our last four games and still stayed up by six points.

That anyone would see us drop to a point or two of relegation with, say, four games left and be able to say, "yeah, let's keep trust in the guy who took a side of this quality to the brink of the abyss" is just baffling to me. It's support at the expense of logic.
It's more that I think he's assembled a quality side that has had a huge drop in confidence and form and it's a bit of a malaise. Maybe it's all down to him, in which case yes he needs to go, but there is always the chance he'll turn it around and show us what we saw in his first season. One more summer, a real preseason with no World Cup nonsense ruining our players, and a few months next year and everything could be very different.

If it's not, then yes, he probably needs to go, but in the end this season is over with the slightest possible exception of Europa so who cares where we finish as long as it's not going down. Of course I'll be quicker to call for his head next season if he ends poorly than I would if he ends on a high, but 17th and 10th is equally meaningless to me.

I am not certain that it is blind faith in Martinez IF we got into that scenario Tubey, not for me anyrate. It is more of maybe a daft certainty that it wont come to that. But IF we binned Martinez now, then the fear of who would replace him trumps the fear that Martinez will take us down.

If that makes sense. It certainly isnt logical!

2 tough away games coming up, Arse and Stoke, be a struggle to get anything from either of them, but then its Newcastle at Home, managerless, clueless and shirtless, if we cant beat them, he should be sacked.

We were never really in the relegation mix that season.

It was just a collapse toward the end which saw us fall down the table but by that stage we had amassed enough points to see us stay clear of any real anxirpety.

Just remember it being godawful, tbh.

Honestly thought we'd go down the next year, especially once Rooney scored all thsoe goals in portugal and then scarpered.

The key thing there is "clueless"

We have a manager, we have a shirt.

But do we have a clue?
