Where was he meant to be taking us whilst having absolutely nothing to spend? Unless we get an absolute genius like Simeone in then we aren't storming that top 4 any time soon.
 
In his defence he actually made positive subs today or first two anyway. If it werent for old slappy hands we'd be fine. Dreading the arse match ffs
 
I really like Roberto and the way he conducts himself, but I would sack him at the end of the season. Doing it now could lead to a panic selection similar to captain bellend at Villa.

The players are equally to blame, but 6 wins from 26 with our squad is ridiculous.

He took the plaudits last season, he takes the blame this season

LOL. He kept us in the league in 03/04. Not one bit arsed about what statistics say.

He should have started more positive.
1 striker and 2 defensive midfielders at home to the worst team in the league is bottling it.
If it has been working fine but every team knows how to play us hence 2 wins in 18 league games with the quality we have
 
He's nowhere near being in sackable territory. Having said that he must bring in a defensive coach in the summer as the defence is his Achilles heel. His teams have always been dreadful in this department...it's this weakness that got Wigan relegated. Leocester cut through the team so easily that they could have scored seven (as could we). This is the problem with RM...it's too open. He's tactically naive and his post match comments are always cringeworthy...full of soundbites that bear no actual truth or relevance to what just happened on the field. If you hadnt seen the game ypu'd think everything was rosy. To quote Eamon Dunphy; the mans a bluffer.

Get in a defensive coach and we should see an improvement

We also need a pass the ball forward coach

Hold on. in his playing days RM was a DM! so should know about defence.

Get either Weir/Dave Watson back or both,teach them how to row z when necessary.
 
If things don't drastically get worse and we stay up I'd keep hold of Martinez. Think he deserves another year to turn things round. If this crap keeps up into next season then get rid but I do think he deserves another season as long as we don't go down
