Nigel Martyn was absolutely immense for us. You will be able to count how many mistakes he made on about 3 fingers. Absolutely superb keeper, solid and a top drawer shot stopper and leader. The best I've seem since Southall by a mile. Would have played longer had it not been for an injury as well.

Howards been a quality buy though, great servant and excellent purchase but this season is not acceptable. Just as everyone said Distin's time would come, well it's knocking on Tim's door - in fact it's kicking down his door because mentally he isn't sharp enough to be Evertons number one keeper anymore and should be quietly shown the door with a big pat on the back and a thanks for the memories.

I' m afraid he's here long term.
Ask those in the know !!
I like the guy but don' t like his team selections.
Robles should never have bin dropped & we'll never be top 4 with lukaku. Imo
I think he will be here long term bill can't afford the compo.
And as for a top club coming in for him that ship has well sailed.

Laudrup ,Rijkard for starters.
Its not hard if you look properly.

Laudrup was as bad as martinez in his second season for swansea!

There's not a lot of choice out there at the moment (out of work) The costs replacing him won't be cheap either.

Moyes had that season where the league form was a bit poor. But this seems much different. Plus moyes wasn't blessed with a squad like this and some cash!

Taking away what went on moyes when he left....I'd have moyes and his at times dour footy over martinez any day!

I don't get why there is so much hate for moyes.
He took us from the bottom 5/6 to the top 5/6 with no money.
He did a fantastic job and was the right man at the right time.
That said you should never go back just ask mr kendall

IF we get relegated should martinez stay and be given the opportunity to get us promoted again

i want a rough idea who would still back the catalan catastrophe.

Just for the record I dont want Martinez sacked, but my patience is being chipped away week by week.
He has seriously got to turn this around ,Euro apart we are in a habit of not winning....needs to stop before its too late.

Apparently I've kicked a hornets nest with Martyn. Who was good, but in an Everton shirt he was no better than Tim. Statistically speaking anyway. While he did have a great season in 04/05...his other two seasons were on par with Tim's worst complete season (not including this one).

Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.

The vote is getting tighter after every game. I'm starting to find myself slipping towards the 'out' camp. Goalkeeper situation being the main issue, it's really starting to irritate me.

Finally lost patience with him today.
Poor team selection, inability to motivate players and mystifying tactics are just some of the things I that had me thinking anyone but Martinez would be a good idea.

In the first 5 years, we couldn't have asked for anything more ( moyes ) the last 5 he couldn't take us any further.
Regarding those slating Kev Ratcliffe , you should be supporting the [Poor language removed], he's a great guy & only wants the blues to be back were they were in the 80's
