So he should have just let it go in without moving? He wasn't getting that anyway. He was blocked and didn't see it until it was well on it's way.

FFS...it's like people here don't actually watch football.

He's always been garbage at distance shots in general. His reach is too small.

Our better players will be looking at the selection of Howard, the automatic selection of Barry, fitting Osman back in the team when the gimp is fit again, the imminent purchase of Cleverly, and they will go running for for pastures new this summer leaving us with the dross.

Laudrup won a league cup vs Bradford.
Everywhere he's managed he's been given the sack for having his teams develop cliques, infighting, and being impossible to work with- they hired Gary Monk from within the playing staff after the man ran off to Paris for a chill during Swansea's most horrific patch of form.
Rijkaard meanwhile hasn't managed since 2013. That was with Saudi Arabia. Prior to that he had one bad season with Galatasaray. He did well with Barca but that was circumstantial more than anything- i mean, they got rid of him eagerly despite him winning the champions league.

Better alternatives to Martinez are very very very very scarce at the moment. If someone better was available then its a definite consideration. But to me that I think that this is just part of him developing as a manager. Not that he gets a free pass. I mean he basically needs to win the Europa to get any credit out of this terrible season. He won't survive a league run like this next season. Not a chance.
I have not said I wanted any specific name as a new manager for us.
Question was raised if there were alternatives,I named 2 & added others were out there if you look.
Those are 2 free agents, others would cost money like De Boer ,Koeman & Karanka.
I actually want Martinez to stay but if this carries on we will be looking for a new boss for sure.

I still want him here for the long haul. Think our performances in Europe show he's still a decent manager and has the right philosophy to take us forward as a Club, but ive said for most of the season, a lot of seasoned pro's have let him, the team and us fans down and as a manager you put trust in those players and they deliver what they have this season, absolutely ridiculous.
Whilst he shouldn't have dropped Joel Robles, he still cant predict Howard to hand Leicester City a draw yesterday. Throughout the course of the Season Distin and Jagielka, trusted defenders were handing teams goals left right and centre. Gareth Barry (Whos improved lately) was stinking the place out regularly, a trusted player.

Whilst his tactics and probably selections haven't been the best, this season cant be down to just him, the players have to take a portion of the blame as well. We've committed the most errors defensively leading to goals in the Premier League, thats not the Managers fault.

Its nearly 50/50 now.
I think the match going fans have had enough of tippy clappy sleepy dross.

It's only got about 200 votes mate so that's a real small majority of the fan base actually voting. I think the longer this piss poor run continues though, the moans and groans coming from the stands will become louder and louder. It's whether we can actually turn it around, in the league we look absolutely incapable of stringing any kind of form together atm.

Loads of factors behind that result today. EL curse again...see Spurs today too (again) and Leicester putting 5 in defence.

We need to let him get the players in he wants to work his system most of all.

Some people are very fickle and/or impatient.

When you are stuck in a relegation dog fight, with no signs of getting out of it, you can hardly say everyone is either fickle/impatient, now if you said we are worried, then i would agree.
