If he gets shot of zonal marking which has cost us dearly (players on the post save at least 3-5 goals a season) and only works if you have commanding players in the air and continues to show a variation in the way we play then he will do just fine. Plus replace barry and jags.

We've fought our arses off the last 3 games. Mostly down to this bloke and his gigantic bollocks.

West Brom are gonna get a shellacking if we play like that. We were the better team tonight. Second half for about 20 we weren't great but I have no doubts we deserved to go through. Kev was on the bench because he's still carrying a knock by all accounts. Looked fantastic when he came on mind. Best I've seen him for a while. Roberto should be in no danger. I think we've had our spell. Roll on Monday and a thorough thumping for these bad Dingles. Their ground is only ten mins from mine and I dread going past there the bunch of faggot eating inbreds. Worst accent ever too!

Tl;dr: Roberto is boss. We're looking bosser. Baggies to get thwacked.

I got slated for suggesting Barkley play deeper (don't tell anyone, but I think he's just fine there).

Hear ya mate...
the quegs are delighted martinez has played ross out of form with that winger tosh, for some reason people seem to want him to fail, I'd never act in that way to an everton player, its appalling. Him and besic have played together once in cm and produced a display barry and mccarthy aren't capable, once one of martinez's bum boys was available aging they were shunted out. theres a place for mccarthy, i think we overate him a bit, its not like he is snederlin, but while martinez has these total blind spots over players, i'm going to be cagey about him, i wouldnt sack him, and will review my opinion at the end of the season. But ever since the hibbert at left back incident i've had real doubts

Since Hull, we've had effectively had 3 draws. Tonight showed the players are indeed up for the fight. I have a great concern that it took a players' revolt to make RM change his tactics; if the manager cannot see that things aren't working, then that's deeply worried.

RM has bought himself more time, but the sack is back in the shed but the door hasn't been padlocked yet.

This.

The poll options are awful, no cheese on toast, not even a...somewhat, maybe , wait and see until the end of Feb, one game at a time

Yes or No, I mean what sort of choice is that ffs

We are better organized in defense we've even been defending corners somewhat well (just giving up too many), Barkley isn't out on the wing, Rom doesn't have to play tika-taka anymore and is getting service in the channels. Plus the guys aren't holding their heads down when bad things happen. I'm happy. MARTINEZ IN!!!!

On the other hand there needs to be an effort to play the ball wide. McGeady cuts inside (when he has a nice cross), Coleman cuts inside, Oviedo cuts inside, Naismith can't play wide and has to cut inside. Baines is even cutting inside more just to get some time on the ball. GO BACK TO WIGAN YOU HACK!!!!

'It's not like he's Snederlin'? Haaaaaaahahahaha. Yeah that fella who's played in a mid table team for a few years. Rather have McCarthy thanks.
