Still needs to work on his subs, like immediately.

Also needs to make tough calls and drop players like Barry who aren't performing up to standards.

Work to do but he has the credits in the bank from last season and the last 3 games show he still has a glimmer of it.

We are improving but this poor form untill the last couple of games have meant teams fancy a result against us.Home or away, especially at home we only got a good result against QPR because they expect now to lose every away game.We are having to give that extra 10% more than we did last season to even get a draw.Basically we have made ourselves easy targets by mainly to many player being complacent,so we have to fight to get out of it,which we have done in the last 2 games and this has to continue untill we are seen as a top team again.

Talk of him getting the sack was ridiculous anyway...

I know football fans are a fickle bunch and the run we've been on lately hasn't been great but come on... He's a good manager, despite the odd flaw (guess what, he's human).
I wouldn't have used the past tense in your opening sentence. He's still, rightly, under intense pressure. Lose next Monday and it'll be odds on he gets the push.

Love that marvellous understatement 'the run we've been on lately hasn't been great'. Brilliant.

He's not gonna get sacked ffs

Not convinced by our performance tonight. Shall we ignore what happened for 70 minutes? Robles kept us in it, Mirallas changed it.

No need to ignore anything. Team did well the whole game. West Ham only really threatened at set pieces and the odd knock-down.

Even if we get into serious trouble with regards to relegation (we really shouldn't), I'd probably keep him because he's proven he can handle the dogfight in the past.

Let's hope the players take that spirit into the next few games...
Hmm.........well he proved it in 2 out of 3 campaigns. Of course the more insightful amongst us might wonder how come he had Wigan in trouble every season in the first place. We're witnessing him doing the same at Everton now, despite us having by some distance our best squad of players for decades.

Irritating as Barry is at the moment, and as much as I'd love to see Besic kept on after 70, there's something to be said for the continuity over the last couple of games. Until McCarthy's fit, I'd not shake up the starting eleven.

Edit: Disregard, when McGeady or Atsu is back, two wingers (ish) with Barkley next to Besic. When McCarthy's back, we can have the Number 10 headache again.
