Paradoxically the Howard injury will help Martinez shore up his position. Any long term poor run beyond this will be viewed as partly a result of having our number one keeper out of action.

Hopefully he doesn't have to rest on that though and either Robles finds a bit of form or we get a very good understudy in who'll eventually take over from Howard.

Griffiths was in the england u19s but dont think hes ever played for the youth sides yet.

Beyond belief. Said at the time he should have saved it and was looked at by everyone around me as if I had three heads. That's a terrible attempt at a save.
