What do people want from Martinez's post-match talks?

I haven't even seen highlights of yesterday and I'm already cringing at the "nothing between the two sides" post-match quote. I can think of three things for a start.

Week in, week out his press conferences are the same: "This player is not too far away from
Returning to the squad"
"I have huge respect for (opponent or manager)"
"We have to be wary of the opposition threat"

Post match interviews are the same:
"The performance was good and it didn't reflect the score line"
"We played the right way but couldn't make it count in front of goal"
"There are many positives from today's game"

It's always the same. I stopped listening a while ago

All press conferences are watered down slop for Sky. Other than the odd 'live on the spot' interview like Keegans and Rafael's they're all the same.....sterile, condescending and geared to making viewers think they've seen a great game.

It's what he says in the dressing room that counts, and what he does tactically and selection-wise in reaction to such a bad showing. Didn't Baines say not so long ago that he's an angry [Poor language removed] at times? I imagine they're in today and not out Christmas shopping.

Based on yesterday,, if we dropped everyone that under performed we'd be starting with Besic and subs/kids.....one of those days when everyone was awful. A Boxing Day game against Arsenal, Chelsea, the [Poor language removed], City or Utd would have been the perfect tonic.....Stoke is the last team you'd want to face after an abysmal performance like yesterday.

'We weren't good enough today, the positives to take are we have an opportunity to learn from these mistakes so we can improve...... And I've cancelled Christmas, we're all coming in to practice corners, useless clowns'

Here's what Klopp said after the latest defeat.
Unsurprisingly, Klopp is now praying that upcoming winter break will re-energise his struggling side.
"The best news today is that football is over for 2014," the Dortmund boss told Sky.
"Any criticism that we receive now is justified. We are standing here like complete idiots and it's completely our own fault.
"We now have three weeks of preparation ahead of us. Then we will repair what we've done."
Dortmund resume Bundesliga action after the winter hiatus with a tricky trip to Bayer Leverkusen on January 31.

I would imagine the fume level here reduce drastically if Roberto comes out saying something similar last night.

People just want him to call it how it is. Stop trying to polish turds, we know what we saw so to suggest the complete opposite is mental.

Actually about this time last year I made a post saying that his constant positivity would really grate when we are losing. Got absolutely slaughtered on here at the time though, as we were winning a lot at the time.

A smattering of the truth would be a good start, he is starting to get a bit of a bore with his constant upbeat mantra we aren't fookin daft we can see how it is with are own eyes

To be fair if we were bottom of the bundesliga like Dortmund I would expect that! But we're just struggling in mid table aren't we
