Just read the RS echo report on the game v Stoke, and I think Brent went round the dressing room sucking them all off after the game going on some of his comments:

“Glen is a good-looking boy so a little bang on his head won't do him any harm!"

“Simon made a couple of great saves,” said the Reds boss. “We asked him to simplify his game and do what he is good at, which is shot-stopping.
he came for a couple of crosses at the end when the pressure was on. I'm very pleased for him.”

“Lucas has come in and been outstanding in the last two games, very tenacious and aggressive and someone who can pass the ball."

I heard on City FM before that they didn't pass it short from the keeper or the back four today

No trust on his back line, Right or wrong Martinez would never abandon his way of playing

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard’s future looks increasingly uncertain as discussions over a new contract drag on.

Fears are growing at Anfield that the Kop legend’s career at the club is drawing to a close, with the American owners unwilling to match the 34-year-old’s current £140,000-per-week contract. The former England captain’s deal expires in the summer, when he could leave on a free transfer.

Gerrard came on as a 75th-minute substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Stoke City, the 16th anniversary of his debut. He is believed to be open to offers from January when he can hold talks with overseas clubs. A cut in wages is likely to be a significant factor in whether Liverpool and Gerrard can agree fresh terms.

He should try and get a last pay day at Celtic...he might have a chance of getting his hands on a league title there.

Watched them last night and they looked awful. If Sidwell had of stayed on the park I reckon it would have been a different story. Really surprised they got a goal with the chances they messed up.

Hello red and white shytes hello red and white shytes hello hello.:)

Oh we hate Bill Shankly and we hate St John, but most of all we hate Big Ron,
And we'll hang the Kopites one by one on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey,
To Hell with Liverpool and Rangers too, throw them all in the Mersey,
And we'll fight fight fight with all our might for the boys in the Royal Blue Jersey,

;)
