a) no idea how you pronounce any of the names

b) whisky makes me go psycho

Glenlivet or Singleton are both ace starter malts, nicely balanced and relatively light, but plenty of flavour. Or Highland Park if you fancy something a little more smoky.

Same here. The weird thing is I seem to be able to drink Bourbon fine, you'd think that would send me nuts an' all.

yeah same, even bourbon biscuits, I can do a packet of them in no problem

but whisky makes me jekyll and hyde, madness, it's a shame coz all the chums in here make it sound so nice

Tonight, Ive had a Bubbahabhain and Highland Park (two export varieties) and a Chivas Regal.

The Highland Park was the weakest, the others were great.

I have my birthday next week...going to treat myself naturally...a friend has recommended for smoothness this beaut...any reviews my men?

Top drawer sir. All the Balvenie are fine Speysides and that is a lovely whisky, a lot of richness with sherry cask maturation adds to the usual lighter Speyside style, well recommended.
