Yobo is similar to Jags in that they're grafters. Lescott is the one that is the tidier, more clever defender.

Examples really for me are like - Terry (the force) and Calvaliho (the brains). Vidic (the force) and Ferdinand (the brains). Jags (the force) and Lescott (the brains).

Not slanting Jags saying his just a brute, he is clever. But in a partnership you have one and the other. Lescott is the brains at the back.

A couple of decent and interesting posts there kidda bean.

I'm sitting here now, drunk as a skunk, initially feeling very disappointed about the confirmation of phillips injury. However, you have to just ignore it, forget it, jagielka who? Dont mope about over the events that have happened, picture the events to come. As I said in a prior post, Joey and Joleon looked good together on wednesday and 6 weeks on nailing their partnership shouldnt be too hard a task for pro's.

TBH Joey has been a good servant to the club and despite his lack of performances this season deserves to play at wembley as much as anyone. He has been an integral part of our progression over recent years.
 

To my mind , its the ( second) worst of all possble worlds . Only Timmy would be a bigger miss . Sorry , but the Cup went with him on that stretcher . One word . Droghba . Devoed , as the kids say .
 
very dissapointing for jag' along with vic,mikel,yak,missing our first final in a while, thats the everton's way....the hard way

To be honest lad , you can have your opinion , having seen some replies to your posts .
Jags is the Daddy . He is , was , the main reason we got to the fukn Final . This is very , vey bad news . End of .
Yak has had less influence this year than young Dan . Mikel is a God , however , but Jags and Timmy are the keys to Everton's works .
 
trying to stay optimistic, and least jags' position is a position we have good cover for in yobo. Cmon lads i still think we can do one over chelsea....seriously! We still have peanuts, lescott, cahill, baines and felli. Those lads will step up to the plate for the final, wait and see!
 

Have to say im gutted for the lad himself, he doesnt deserve this given his performences this year and how often do players get to play in cup finals in thier career, extreamly crueal and unjust. From what i hear there are no gaurentees he will even be back at the start of next season. Gutted as well that he may miss the summer international programme in a world cup year after breaking into the squad. My thoughts are all with him he must be gutted.
 
We can still do Chelsea, of that I'm sure. I'm more pished off for Jags. The player of the season (in my view) is about to miss what would have been the biggest game of his life.
