Relieved at not being beaten but feel flat. They were a 3 man team last year. One sold, one injured but the most important one is still there..the ref. Absolutely appalling today.

I don't think Everton played that badly as the team defended well today, but Martinez management of the second half was poor again. The subs were too long in coming, and lukaku out wide clearly wasn't working. It's 4 years since we beat these and now add another year to how long it is without a win at anfield so not much satisfaction in a draw but better than nothing.

Without Coleman, Barkley and Mirallas we are very poor going forward. Naismith just doesn't have the pace for a counter attacking side and for me mcgeady is a squad player at best.

McGeady is ace when he is up for it unfortunately that seems to be about 10% of the time. The rest of the time he's a non tracking back liability.
