But who decides if the player is injury prone?
dont get me wrong mate, i dont particularly support england and Sturridge being injured is good for us in terms of league aspirations, especially if he misses the derby

just think international teams should be doing their utmost to avoid injuries, particularly at the start of the season. i know they want to maximise their time with the players, but if its at risk of damaging the player it all seems abit pointless

basically, i dont trust international football with our players, and i especially dont trust england with their record

I probably stand corrected but, if I am not mistaken, the RS have been on the box an INCREDIBLE 26 consecutive games and counting - I think the last game they weren't on was Hull City on New Years Day. And we could include most of their pre-season games. This will be extended to THIRTY before they finally get to play a Saturday 3pm kick-off against West Brom in 2 weeks time.
