Last Film You Watched

Not sure if it can be called a film more of a 2 part mini-series on CH4 and have only watched the first part so far, but Houdini is very good so far and will watch the second part later today/tonight

to be honest Donald its a fair while since I watched it but i have vague memories of it seeming it finished rather abruptly as if
the money ran out, as a side note i remember trying for years to find out what the music was when the tiger bit was in it do
you know what bit i mean?
 
Godzilla.

Small bits of the film are really ace.

They use the piece of music from 2001 when the Monkeys are touching the Monolith for the Parachuting bit and it works a treat.

The rest of the film shall be summed up thusly.

- Bryan Cranstons awful awful wig.
- Female Mum Character strange forehead / eyes combination. Imagine Maggie Gyllenhalls crossed with Dakota Fanning and smacked right between the eyes with an iron.
- Main dude. Okay he's in the Army but so he's on the team he's just joined? Is that how the Army works? "Hey I'm Luitenant Suchandsuch" and then he's in the team? And then he's in civilian clothes and then Hey! I'm in Army gear. And then "Hey I know what this high Profile Generals meeting needs to combat this giant animal! Private Suchandsuch! And then he's the only surviver of the Nuclear Bomb test that we want to destroy them with but don't they use radioactive energy to grow?

Look I don't know. But it's much better than Godzilla '98 which was, lets face it, an abortion of a film.

It's Sanctus Missa Luba I think. Nutty scene ! If ... this film was more widely known it would be blamed for every school gun massacre going! I love it. if.. the greatest word in l.I.F.e , ask Kipling.

Worst thing about working on films.

Fingers crossed that last paycheck goes in!
