Depends I suppose.

Chelsea won that game 3-1. It's possible to say he won them that game.

So I'd rather him score 3 in a 3-1 than 1 in 3 3-1s.

I know FTY but that is assuming he his the only striker, we cannot be in a position of just relying on him. How has been over the last two years injury wise?

People are really complaining about his wages being around 80k like it comes out of their own pocket or something.

The fella is one of the most successful, accomplished players of his time who held the mantle of wolrds best strikers for years.

Not only does he still score goals but his experience, know how and all around BRAND is mega important for our club.

He will still SCORE and will still do well.

Why ? It's pretty standard nowadays and he's on a free . I don't see it as a big problem

We bring in a player on 80k a week that means we're less likely to bring in a second player.

I mean, come on this is everton, we don't have an unlimited budget. Every pound we spend on one player is a pound we don't spend elsewhere.

We'll probably not even be able to buy another lawnmower.

You don't know that we won't bring in another player though . Even welbeck will want 80k a week as well

We don't rely on him we've just signed someone for £28 mil and have someone else who's the Prem's joint top scorer, and another international striker.

A few years ago, he was the highest paid player in the world.

He is a genuine world star, we should promote him and use it to push our brand.

I don't think he was ever that marketable beyond Africa, and believing that the Everton PR team even knows where Africa is would be pushing it
