Only way I see that happening is of miralles comes back particularly out of shape and even then I'd imagine geads is ahead of him.

McGeady is obviously getting fitter throughout preseason and has shown us potential so far, so I guess you're right and he'd be starting first. It's a nice change being able to bring on Atsu to mix things up though! I imagine he'll see wayyy more playing time than Del did

Don't doubt it at all. Just think we won't see two 'get to the by line wingers' start the same game. Not at the start of the season at least.

Don't think he'll be first choice immediately but he will get a lot of games (probably on the left) so, if he does do well he'll be able to establish himself as a first team starter. It'll be good competition for Pienaar who's had it a bit easy for the last few years.
