The Martinez Effect

He is loved over here in the States even before he was manager with us. He is very complimentary and his analysis and tactical awareness has amazed me. He is obviously well liked in numerous circles around the globe so that only enhances his reputation. A great coup for us.

He's perfect!

It really seems he wants to improve the whole club (not just the portion on the pitch). I don't think there is any denying the level of enthusiam he brings to the players and supporters.

Just watch - as long as he is here this will continue to pay dividends in the transfer window. Players will want to play for him and in the atmosphere at Everton!

One thing I would like to say is, looking at the players Roberto brought in from when he took over would our Ex have gone near any of them?

get the impression the players are signing up or extending contracts because they want to work with him and his staff more so than ,lets say players signing for other clubs because of their name, wages etc.I might be wrong, but I don't hear them saying that their new manager was a big reason why they signed up for said club.A big factor with our 3 signings this year I'm fairly sure would be to work with RM.
can't see in the last five years how we would have been able to attract the type of players we've signed or loaned in the last 12 months without him.we wouldn't be linked to half the players we are these days, quite a change in the way we're perceived.

I'm not gonna be blinkered, I felt like this after Moyes's first couple of seasons. We finished 16th in those first few years too, so be prepared for an iffy here, hopefully not this season, but I can see it being a bit more of a struggle. I hope we as fans give him patience and support.
